The Holocaust was the systematic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of approximately six million Jews by the Nazi and its collaborators
In 1933 nine million Jews lived in the 21 countries of Europe that would be military occupied by Germany during the war.
Concentration Camps were bordered in by wired fences.
